VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
At the Breast
Health Access For Women With Disabilities, we consider volunteers
a fundamental part of our
program. We are committed to the ongoing development, maintenance,
and improvement of our volunteer program.
BHAWD offers interesting and fun opportunities
for individuals to use their talents while helping others. Volunteers
and staff participate equally in developing and implementing all
program goals. People throughout Alameda and Contra Costa Counties
assist with a wide range of activities, including the following:
- Program planning, and implementation
- Public relations
- Online services
- Clerical help
- Database entry
- Speaking engagements
- Self-help group development & facilitation
- Advocacy
- Fund raising
- Breast health training
Internship opportunities are also available
